Wyndham Hotels (WH) beats second quarter profit and revenue estimates

OYndham Hotels (WH) posted quarterly earnings of $1.07 per share, beating Zacks’ consensus estimate of $0.98 per share. That compares to earnings of $0.95 per share a year ago. These figures are adjusted for non-recurring items.

This quarterly report represents a profit surprise of 9.18%. A quarter ago, this chain of hotels and resorts was expected to post a profit of $0.66 per share when it actually produced a profit of $0.95, offering a surprise of 43.94%.

In the past four quarters, the company has exceeded consensus EPS estimates four times.

Wyndham, which is owned by the Zacks Hotels & Motels segment, posted revenue of $386 million for the quarter ended June 2022, beating Zacks’ consensus estimate by 7.45%. That compares to revenues of $406 million a year ago. The company has exceeded consensus revenue estimates three times in the past four quarters.
