Further, during a joint press conference with Yogi Adityanath, the CM of Uttarakhand spoke about the relationship between the two states stating that many unresolved issues have been resolved. “Since the formation of Uttarakhand, some issues have not been resolved due to the change of government. We have resolved most of them, while some issues related to irrigation will soon be resolved with Uttar Pradesh,” Dhami said.

UP CM Yogi Adityanath also corroborated the same saying that the two states have resolved the long standing issue of Alaknanda Hotel which was under the UP government. “It has been donated to Uttarakhand government while a new rest house will be built by UP government for tourists in Haridwar,” he said.
