Event Hospitality aims to redefine motels with the new HotelMotel

The first images were released by Event Hospitality showcasing the second of three new properties joining the company’s independent collection in Adelaide as part of its management agreement with 208 South Terrace Pty Ltd.

Following a major overhaul and renovation by Studio Nine Architects, Event Hospitality unveiled ‘HotelMotel, where it says it aims to redefine motel accommodation in Australia. Located opposite Adelaide Park, the new HotelMotel has 61 rooms that have been given a whole new look, with bright orange doors and navy and matte black finishes.

Like many motels, the new HotelMotel will allow guests to park right outside their front door.

Inside you will have access to a Smart TV, minibar, free Wi-Fi, espresso machine with coffee pods, toiletries and a hairdryer. Check-in can be done using the HotelMotel smartphone app, which also allows guests to order plates and dishes to share for room service. The new property will be led by Sam Farrington as Managing Director, who was appointed earlier this year to oversee all three properties in a cluster role.

The arrival of HotelMotel follows the introduction earlier this year of The Terrace Hotel Adelaide – the first of three new additions to the Independent Collection under the new management agreement which saw a total of 208 rooms added to the stable in full swing. In partnership with hotel owners, Event Hospitality embarked on a $ 15 million Australian renovation project that saw the roll-out of new operating brands in two of the three new-look properties.

Director of hotel events reception, Norman Arundel.

Hotel and Resort Event Hospitality Manager Norman Arundel said the latest addition to The Independent Collection offers incredible value for guests.

“HotelMotel shares the same passion for hospitality, service and quality that the Independent Collection is famous for, while emphasizing individuality and providing a unique guest experience,” said Arundel.

Event Hospitality is expected to unveil the final piece of the puzzle in the coming months as renovations to the Chifley Hotel come to an end. Upon completion, guests staying at any of South Terrace’s three properties will be able to access the trio’s integrated services and facilities.
