Moira Guest House in downtown Moira has been renamed Ralph’s Moira following a six-figure investment and refurbishment by the team behind Lisnacurran Country House, with financing facilities provided by Ulster Bank .

“Bold” and “eclectic”

Ralph’s Moira co-owner Lynne McCabe said: “The main feature of every room, which instantly demands the attention of our guests as soon as they are stepped into the space, is the custom two-meter headboard. from above. We wanted to work with some of the best local suppliers, so I worked with my design partner, Sarah Brankin from The House of Curtains, Moira, on the headboard designs and worked with Balmoral Furniture on their manufacture.

“Color was an important consideration for us. Ralph’s mandate was to be bold, eclectic, and to reintroduce vibrant textures and patterns into the space for a sophisticated and unique experience.

“We wanted Ralph’s to make an impact and leave a lasting impression on our customers in terms of the quality of our product, both upon arrival and as a souvenir beyond the duration of their stay.”

Potential for further expansion

Ralph’s Moira can accommodate up to 29 guests, and additional investments have been made to increase the number of guests it can accommodate.

McCabe said: “We have the option of converting the loft space into additional bedrooms, and there is potential for further property expansion as well.”
